Chantal Dubé, RVT

Chantal was born and raised in Southern Ontario. Her passion for horses runs very deep, as she has been riding and competing since she was five years old. She competed on the Trillium Circuit in Ontario as well as presented the Haflinger breed in showcases and breed shows across Ontario, Québec, and the Northeastern United States. In 2006 her equine passion brought her to Alberta to complete a diploma in Equine Science with a major in Production and Breeding Management. From there she was fortunate to work for several breeding operations around Calgary as well as back East in Québec. Chantal was drawn back West in 2011 when she began working for Burwash Equine Services where her passion for equine medicine blossomed into a career when she chose to return to Olds College and complete her Animal Health Technology diploma in 2014.

Having joined Alberta Veterinary Center in February 2016, Chantal is a self-proclaimed crazy-cat lady with an obvious devotion to equine medicine. In her spare time, Chantal enjoys riding, camping, fishing and quadding. Chantal lives in Red Deer with her two rescue cats, Mia and Fry.
